February 9, 2009 - The digging has begun!!!  Johnny Pace brings his backhoe to start digging the footings.  Of course, we have no idea what is going on and have a ton of questions.  Scottie looked at us and said, "You really don't have any idea what's going on here, do you?"  We'd been trying to tell him that we knew absolutely nothing about this phase of the project.  Now, he's a believer!  Not sure if he thought it was funny or scared the heck out of him....either way, he just sort of smiled and continued on.

February 10, 2009 concrete truck arrived today and filled all of the trenches with concrete.....the footings have been poured.  Everything looks a lot bigger than it did on the plans...hmmmmm!?  Now, we're ready for the block.
